I would like a friend or a family member to come to watch my ceremony.  Is that possible?

Each ring recipient may bring guests to the Iron Ring ceremony.  Space is somewhat limited, so we appreciate if you would limit to 2 if purchasing earlier to allow for later registrants. This is  necessary due to capacity limits within the ceremony venue.  Two days before ceremony, you may go back on and purchase additional tickets if any remain.

Note that One ringed engineer as special presenters are exempt from the two guest restriction.  You may have One ringed engineer attend the ceremony as a special presenter with you in addition to your guests.

Can someone present me my ring?

Yes.  Ringed engineers may present ring recipients their rings.  Please provide the name of any such special presenter during the registration process.

Note that we consider ringed engineers to be guests of the camp rather than the guest of an attendee.  An attendee may bring One ringed engineer as a special presenter in addition to their guests.

Which finger do I wear my ring on and what is my ring size?

Your Iron Ring should be worn on the pinky-finger of your working hand (ie. right hand if you’re right handed).  You can be sized for a ring at any jewelry shop, normally for free.  Be sure to request sizing based on the North American system!  This system uses sizes typically in the range of 2 – 10.  Note that our rings are available in whole- and half-sizes only (ie. 6, 3.5, etc).

I bought my ticket online but didn't have the option to specify my ring size or provide my guest's name.  How do I provide this?

Within 10 days of completing your purchase, you will receive an email with registration instructions.  Please follow those instructions to complete your registration for the Iron Ring ceremony.

How much does it all cost?

Registration for the Iron Ring Ceremony (including your ring) costs $40.
